The WH is drumming up its anti-buyback. What’s your thinking?

the WH now wants to 4x the buyback tax. I personally hate the idea because obviously buyback helps the stock price.

If the companies think there's no better way to use their cash than buy back their stock, why is it anyone's business to tell them what to do or how to use their cash?
