This is a question concerning personal income tax/capital gains tax.
For people who moved to a country that doesn't have an individual capital gains tax, did you have to move there permanently? Did you set up an company in that country?
Did you have to be a citizen?
Essential I'm asking because it is possible for me to get a New Zealand citizenship through my family. And I'm curious what lengths I need to go to take advantage of the lack of capital gains tax.
If someone has done something similar or can provide me some info into complications you came across during the process, I would be greatful.
