So like many others on this sub, I own T shares that have now given me some WBD shares as well. I'm hoping someone will tell me if the maths below is right or wrong.
Cost basis of original T shares: $28.44
Cost basis of T shares (minus WBD): $28.44 x .76606 = $21.79
Cost basis of WBD shares: $28.44 x .23394 = $6.6532
Now I read somewhere that I need to divide my WBD cost basis by .25, is this correct?
