Shouldn’t there be a better correlation between SPX and SPY?

If you look closely at the peak SPX reached in August 2022, it failed to hit that level on Monday and Wednesday.

Nevertheless, SPY did come a few cents away from reaching its August peaks.

Shouldn't there be a better correlation between SPX and SPY? I'm surprised to see such a big discrepancy between the two.
