I've been investing for about a year now, and have almost $850 in the S&P 500. I had intended to put in a few dollars here and there and learn as I went, but that never really happened. My open P&L has never dropped below -10%, but I'm sure that's due to sheer dumb luck. I'd really rather not fuck up and lose that money, but I can't bring myself to sell as long as the value just goes sideways. Should I educate myself and start over or should I just let it ride and hope for the best?
