Before y’all tell me to shut the fuck up and invest in VEQT/XEQT, know that I have about 22k doing just that.
Now, since the beginning of this year, I’ve invested $1000 in crypto (various coins) and it has since dropped 50% to abojt $582.
Disheartening? Yes. Regret? No. I knew what I was in for.
Now, my biggest investment was in ETH. I bought about $500 worth of ETH at its “regular” price before it crashed to now at what? 1400 CAD?
While I don’t intend on buying any other coins for now given the volatility and their uncertainty, and since Bitcoin is still rather out of reach for me, I was wondering what you guys thought about splurging another $500 on ETH, now that it’s so much more affordable.
Obvi the fear is that is crashes completely, but, I would say this is… unlikely? So many crypto networks (big one being NFTs) rely on the ETH blockchain. And some analysts say the end of the year it will break $4000 again: https://www.google.com/amp/s/time.com/nextadvisor/investing/cryptocurrency/ethereum-price-predictions/amp/
I don’t know that much about crypto to be honest, so what do you guys think? If I have the money to spare, should I put $500 in ETH? Or continue stacking up on ETFs?
Thanks
