Sell, Sell, Sell….when is the right time to sell?

Do you have an exit strategy when you buy? I am looking at my portfolio and pruning over last 2 weeks. Probably too early, but many investments no longer fit the thesis I bought them for originally. Example Iron Mountain IRN, was a dividend reinvestment play, but I got lucky because of AI boom and it doubled in value in 2 years but I would not even consider buying it now or keeping drip on because new money is not even at inflation rate dividend yield. Plus 20 years worth of dividends in value in 2 years, thank you.

I also pruned things that have had huge runs, that could mean 5 shares or 50 shares depending on price, at some point there will be a pull back and want some fire power to jump in on new ideas, And of course there are the dreaded losers. This one I have the hardest time with, when is the right time to call it quits? Turn the page and admit you blew it, currently in my penalty box, vale, path, ddd, and zim. The earnings calls are not bad, professional, leaves you feeling good about management. But stocks are awful, just putrid

Curious to what gets you out of your investments…Thank you
