I have noticed a massive Short position on natural gas contracts with net speculative position moving from -110 in May 2022 to -170 as of Jan 27 2023.
I think at the current price level $2.5 which is about 5% under the last 5 year prices and a number of other factors Freeport coming back on stream and the possibility of a very cold March we could see a massive move of unwinding shorts and the price pump pretty quickly up to above the $5 range.
I want to sell my house and put all my money in natural gas but my wife won't let me. I don't know how to break it to her and have already talked to the bank of getting a loan against my house since she said she would divorce me and toss all my stuff out the window if she saw a for sale sign.
I told her I would be happy just eating tendies all day and putting all our extra money into natural gas and she froze my account.
I don't know what to do plz help
