In the event that someone present has exceptional knowledge of legal implications, what are the impacts of economic sanctions on funds holding Russian equities. I have a decent position in VWO which has/had small allocations to several companies in the Russia basket. Does the fund hold the equities through the sanctions? Are they sold (who the hell would be the buyer)? Do we chalk them up for a loss? What a time to be alive.
