DigiTimes is the source of the rumour, an usually well informed Taiwanese semiconductor newspaper. AMD is selling N5 Zen 3 since 2020 and is expected to launch N5 Zen 4 later this year. If AMD N3 production capacity is delayed they could decide to produce Zen 5 on N5.
AMD reports 2022Q1 earnings on Tuesday, maybe more information will be provided.
