Hey folks, new to the market and have never lived through a recession while being engaged in investing/trading. I've read about “market and recession indicators” on this sub, other subs and some websites found through Google searches. Is a company like Meta laying off 11'000 (20% of the company staff? I'm not really sure) employees a potential recession indicator or is that something that's anticipated with company growth in the Tech sector? I have no shares or money in Meta but am trying to learn how moves like this reflect what could be in store for the market down the road.
Thanks for your advice and experience!
