Question about Total Returns

Hi there,

I'm a new investor and have been using Wealthsimple Trade.

I'm in it for the long run with 92% of my TFSA in VEQT.

I noticed today that I'm down 1% which is whatever, but I have stats saying that my total return is around $600. I'm confused how I'm down or where the $600 is?

Does the $600 get deposited if I sell (not that I will)? Is there a mistake somewhere?
