I have lending in my brokerage account switched on and a certain stock got lent out. Ever since, the income rate has been increasing (from around 1.5% to 6% this morning). I understand that this just means the stock is harder to borrow (high demand relative to low supply) and so the rate to borrow has gone up. But besides that, is it possible to make other insights?
