I have a hard time understing amazon valuation because they don't have consistent eps per quarter. It just seemed to fluctuate every quarter. So it is hard to have any sense of their valuation as an amateur investor.
My question is Amazon at it's current state how would you best describe it's valuation in terms of PE. Is it similar to a PE 60 company? or 50? or 40? or 30?
Another question I have is if amazon stopped growing. And you are given the forsight that it become a value company. What stock price would you give it as a company?
Basically I'm curious how much of amazon's valuation is base on what it can already do today. And how much is it base on what people expected it to grow.
