Post/Comment attitude vs. stock climate

I've been seeing a lot of posts of people complaining about the posts/comments that have been made on this subreddit being generally bad/unhelpful.

Think back to a time where the posts/comments were generally positive/helpful in the subreddit. How was the market looking then?

If you're unsure, think about how the market looks now, and correlate it to these recent posts. If you want a solid metric for how the market is doing, listen to the talk of the talk too. It might just be a better indicator.
