Hi experts,
I need to invest some cash for a year or two and am looking for good investments that are low in risk and yet give high yields. Please let me know how my plan looks like:
VMFXX (Government Fund, 5.04% yield, 0.11 Expense Ratio) – 25% VUSXX (Treasury Fund, 5.06% yield, 0.08 Expense Ratio) – 20%
SGOV (T-Bill ETF, 5% yield, 0.05 Expense Ratio) – 25%
VMSXX (Municipal Fund, 3.38% yield but no tax, 0.15 Expense Ratio) – 30%
Please let me know how this looks and if and how you would change things here. I’m planning to get a house in 1-2 years.
I checked a lot of other MMF as well, Schwab and Fidelity has high expense ratio or lower yield, so preferred Vanguard.
Thank you, appreciate your help 🙂
