I started investing in early 2021 – I'm down hugely – 25% overall. Some stocks as high as 35% down.
Currently holding Meta, Google, PLTR, SQ/Block, PINS, AMD, NVDA, Intel, paypal and Draftkings. I also DCA into a few ETFS every month (QQQ, sp500, UKDV etc).
I must admit I probably should have diversified a little more but I just feel more comfortable buying tech, its what I understand and the companies I invested in I honestly feel have staying power and growth potential.
I hear a lot on here from people who are slightly green or only 1-5% down overall and have a portfolio that is all commodities/ETFs – but not much from people who are down a lot because they are heavily tech focused. There must be others like me who either started investing at a bad time or just put the majority of their money into growth. Lets here from you guys for a change!
