They are one of the worst companies I see still in the SP500. Talk to any customer and they have nothing, but complaints. There are no good services they provide, excluding HBOMAX, and the customer service and price gouging is horrendous.
Contracts – They get people into contracts, which in this day of age is not needed unless you have poor service. The reason they have the contract is because the service starts decent and just gets worse
Monopoly – In a lot of areas across the US, AT&T is the only option for many services such as internet and cell service.
Highest Prices Low Quality- Out of everything, their prices are the highest in every industry… from my experience some of the most unrealiable service (tried Spectrum, TDS, and Verizon). The only product that has been quality is HBOMAX and it is highly priced, but now comparable to Netflix.
Your thoughts on this company? The stock hasn’t moved in years and the dividend is the only redeeming factor. I’d think the world would be better if this company was bought out and completely reworked. Thoughts on the future of the stock and possible business improvements?
