on June 29th the US “Gross Domestic Product (Third Estimate), GDP by Industry, and Corporate Profits (Revised), 1st Quarter 2022” will be released.

July 28 – Gross Domestic Product, 2nd Quarter 2022 (Advance Estimate)
Aug 25 – Gross Domestic Product (Second Estimate) and Corporate Profits (Preliminary), 2nd Quarter 2022
the first quarter of this year the USA had a negative GDP growth . so if the second quarter also has a negative GDP growth, that would make two consecutive quarters of negative growth which is the technical definition of a recession.
