I've been invested in JDST(inverse gold miners index) stock since April and its been on a mostly upper trajectory. I can't seem to figure out when i need to cash out though. I keep reading that Gold is a safe haven during recessions and yet all the charts i see say that is a bold faced lie. Other sources say that Gold value goes down with high interest rates. Yet, that seems to be disproved somewhat as well.
Can anyone give me some pointers or point me to some information on what factors i should be looking into to know when to cash out of gold mining industry?
