Not sure if anyone knows this. Netflix is known for having the world’s best computer programmers.

I have a friend that’s a tech recruiter. For big tech, Netflix pays double the going rate for computer programmers in Silicon Valley. They have a crazy culture deck and fire programmers incredibly quickly if not up to par (with the best severance package in America).

I say this because there’s a ridiculous base of technical talent at Netflix. With such a big correction, and stock options likely falling below strike for new programmers hired the last 3 years, I imagine there’s going to be a lot of internal pressure to innovate and build new verticals.

Pure speculation, but I’m really intrigued to see how Netflix adapts in the next 12-24 months. They certainly have the talent to do so internally.

**I own 0 shares of Netflix.
