Next-gen VR/AR/MR will rapidly change everything. EVERYTHING. After widespread adoption, what companies will grow the fastest from it?

I know there are many people that do not understand next-gen immersive technology and many who even claim to dislike the direction we're going with such technology. Try to put those arguments aside for a moment.

For me, it's like arguing whether or not the personal computer, internet, or smart phones will have an impact on how we create, work, communicate, and entertain ourselves. And I've seen plenty of hype and dislike all around. Everyone seems like they could argue for days about it all.

So, try to set it aside for a moment and imagine it has already happened, imagine a world where a variety of immersive technology is ubiquitously available and used regularly by everyone as much as we use our phones and PCs.

I'm looking for strategic next moves, where to invest AFTER the boom, after next-gen VR/AR/MR technology begins evolving and spreading as fast as smartphones and PCs and broadband wireless internet. Because I do believe it will happen very fast.

What industries and careers do you see leveraging MR/VR/AR hardware, services, and technology the most? Gaming and movies are seemingly fairly obvious, game engine developers, 3D content assets, people and companies in those areas are fairly well positioned now and will see solid growth as well. Are there other industries that may be even better poised for rapid growth? For example assistive driving services, freight hauling, remote jobs operating heavy machinery, drones… healthcare? What companies can and will leverage this technology the fastest?
