Hi, I'm a newbie.
I started trading stocks this week. I live and reside in Japan and i use a broker app to buy stocks (which is linked to my bank account in said country). I've not lived in that country for 4 years, however, the app allows me to trade in American stocks (not American citizen).
My friend informed me that it may not be legal to buy and sell stocks in the country i am in due to the country's individual laws (Japan).
