~90% of my individual stock holdings are mega-tech (in order of position): GOOG/L, MSFT, AMZN, AAPL, META.
I strongly believe the mix will perform above S&P returns for at least the next few years.
I've DCA'd over the last few months into IMO pretty decent cost basis for each.
But given the environment it's reasonable to believe that at least 1 or more will report/guide at the end of this month in a way that the market doesn't 'knee-jerk' like.
So as a hedge/opportunity I'm planning to free-up ~20% of those positions into cash over the next couple weeks – shared between all based on performance. Money that I fully intend to plow back into any weakness from the lot (assuming the long term thesis holds).
Just my strategy… and yes I'm fully aware of diversification, ETFs, et.al.
