Most sources (youtubers, reddit) that i read said September was going to be a big crash. BUT the last two days the market just jumped up?

I was going to hold off on buying some stocks like TSLA and some VOO or VTI because two days ago, they were on a losing streak and I've been reading that this month many stocks and the general market will tank.

Suddenly there is a small surge the past two days in the market. Now I feel kind of frustrated why this market behavior doesn't follow “logical predictions,” those being that overall inflation is high, there is high uncertainty, and so the market should keep going lower.

Who are these people that bought in the past two days that made the market jump up instead of keep sinking?

I know the market is volatile and I know this post sounds kind of noobish and stupid, but I'm also venting genuine frustration that I felt.
