There are definitely some wise things said about stock investing, such as to never put all eggs in one basket. That said, I think that at some point in out trading career we've made the mistake of going in too heavy on a stock.
Let's say that you found a stock that you think has strong fundamentals and technicals, and you're considering to dollar cost average into it. What percentage of your portfolio would be the maximum you're willing to invest in the stock? (After dollar cost averaging, that is.)
And FYI, if you're putting all your money into one or two stocks I can't blame you but that is just silly and frankly very risky.
Thanks in advance.
