Lost approximately $250k going back to January 11th . . . Starting the “slow slog” upwards (I think)

Preface by saying that I am not affected by money going “south or north,” i.e., I try not to concern myself about people, places, or things (e.g., money) . . . The only thing that does matter is what is going on inside me (my attitude). I grew up poor, but was able to retire early with an overly generous pension (remember those?) and good investments, both real estate and equities, back in 2007.

So, on January 11th, one of my accounts, TDAmeritrade was at $742k and change . . . Fast forward to July 1st, it got as low as $382k. Obviously, the “subject” $250k I noted as a loss seems to be incorrect. It isn't, as I had to pay approximately $73 thousand to the Feds and CA for 2020 taxes. Consequently, this earmarked tax money, along with other funds related to this account, I pulled out (and deposited into my “rainy day” credit union account). As of this date, my TDA account is at $435k. It should also be noted, that I took big losses in BA, COIN, and NVDA (got back into NVDA though) during the last 6 months.

I currently have this $435k in 5 equities: MSFT (702 shrs); AMD (850 shrs); NVDA (400 shrs); KLAC (200 shrs); and AMAT (200 shrs). Only KLAC do I have a profit in (and earnings are today). Zero cash on hand in this account, albeit, I have approximately $200k in an “untouchable” government mutual fund (TSP) indexed to S&P 500 and $35k credit union account, that I use for day to day expenses and emergencies.

Advice needed: Should I dump one of these equities? If so, which one(s)? Why? Also, if so, should I wait until I am at even or just take the loss on the stock(s)? Essentially, all of my aforementioned questions relate to one basic question – do you think the stock market has bottomed and are we in recovery? Thank you . . .
