List of X (tweeter) owners revealed. Several fidelity etf/mutual funds own it.. what’s going on?

I own some of these stocks/funds. How are these funds buying private companies like x? Don’t they just buy the specific public stocks shown in the disclosure?
And would these funds be affected and underperformed even if the stocks are doing well?
Not to mention that fidelity thought this was a good idea… but that’s another topic.
