I'm fairly new to investing and I have been trying to build my portfolio for the long term. 20+ years. I opened a Roth IRA that I max out with “safer” funds like VOO and SCHD. But I have a individual account that I want to try some more risky buys.
What do you guys think of LICY? They are a industry leader in lithium-ion battery resource recovery and the leading lithium-ion battery recycler in North America. I'll admit, I'm still learning how to read into company finances but the on the surface it seems like a company that can have significant growth in the future. I'm looking to hold it for 10+ years in hopes that the company becomes a major player in providing raw materials to battery manufacturers. They are expending into Europe and it seems like EVs are only gaining traction. It's fairly cheap now but is it reasonable to think that it could be trading over 100 in 10 years or so?
Just curious to get some opinions and maybe highlight some angles I'm not aware of.
