I am new to the stock market. I am incredibly interested in being able to learn about calls, shorts, etc. I want to learn what all of this stuff means because it seems as if bankers love their acronyms. I follow WSB (which I know is a bunch of self proclaimed idiots) but they still understand the system, and reading their comments, posts on charts, etc, I get lost in translation. I want to trade shorter term, like days or a week or two shorter. It seems as if the stock market is just sports gambling but with companies/information/factors and more opportunity in complete laments terms.
Does anyone have any good books, even text books, or YouTube channels to learn this finance stuff? I know the Intelligent Investor, but I’m talking about understanding how to read graphs, understand the nomenclature, understand how the FED plays a role, etc.
TLDR: learning resources for stocks that is a speed run into trading.
