I just opened a Roth IRA with TD Ameritrade, thinking they would have some pre-made portfolios like my 401k has. But nope, they just have suggestions on how to diversify for different levels of growth and risk. So it's up to me to invest my money, and I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm literally thinking just to google “top large/mid/small-cap mutual funds” and adding the best 5-10 of those to my portfolio. I'm looking for moderate growth over the life of my IRA, what should I do?
