It can’t be conquered, so it can be destroyed

On July 3, 2022 (almost two months ago), the Russian army occupied new areas and settlements in Ukraine for the last time (as of today). After that, the front has stabilized, the war has become mainly positional, and the main role has no longer been played by infantry manoeuvres, but by heavy artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. Both sides build up forces and make rotations in order to take the offensive or disrupt the attack of the enemy. The Russian Federation lost 45.7 thousand military personnel, Ukraine lost 9 thousand militaries.

Ukraine continues to ask the countries of the anti-Putin coalition of the West to supply it with high-precision weapons and integrated air defence systems. Russia has switched the factories of its military-industrial complex to work in three shifts and is conducting a partial (hybrid) mobilization (for example, V. Putin increased the size of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from 1.902 million to 2.039 million people by a fresh decree). In any case, the great offensive of the Russian Armed Forces in the South and East of Ukraine, which began in May, has completely fizzled out.

Since Russia's large-scale military invasion of Ukraine has been going on for half a year, the Kremlin instructed Defence Minister S. Shoigu to comment on this fact. The minister assured the Russians that the occupation of Ukraine was proceeding according to plan (although, of course, no one has seen this plan since February 24 to this day). In addition, S. Shoigu cynically and hypocritically stated that the pace of the offensive has been slowed down due to the fact that everything is being done to avoid civilian casualties. It is not known how many citizens of the Russian Federation believed their Minister of Defence, however, 80% of Russians still continue to fully support the revival of the empire, expansion into Ukraine and the extermination of peaceful Ukrainians.

In fact, the Russian army, facing fierce resistance from the Ukrainian military and realizing the impossibility of quickly conquering the rest of Ukraine, is subjecting the territory controlled by Kyiv to permanent air strikes and shelling with rockets, cluster bombs and phosphorus munitions. At the same time, the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation is very dependent on the supply of foreign components, which were sanctioned. Consequently, the RF Armed Forces have a rather limited supply of precision-guided weapons, which they try to save. Instead, Ukraine is being fired upon mainly by old Soviet missiles, which have a circular probable deviation (around the target) of a kilometre. It is clear that with the massive use of such missiles, the number of civilian casualties is enormous.

On August 24 – the Independence Day of Ukraine – 60 settlements in the country were subjected to rocket attacks! For example, as a result of a Russian missile attack on the railway station in the village of Chaplino (Dnepropetrovsk region), 25 people were killed and more than 50 were injured. In particular, a 6-year-old child burned alive in a railway car along with adults, and an 11-year-old teenager died under the rubble of his collapsed house. In general, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 376 children have died, more than 733 have been injured of varying severity, and more than 400 thousand children have been forcibly taken to the territory of totalitarian Russia!

Having serious difficulty breaking through the Ukrainian defences and unable to occupy new areas, Russian troops will continue to litter Ukrainian soil with their deadly rockets and bombs. Therefore, it is so important that the anti-war coalition of Western countries help Ukraine with the supply of high-precision weapons and modern air defense systems.
