Isn’t automobile a cyclical industry? So are people irrationally bullish about Tesla?

Just to clarify I am an Indian investor who doesn't know much about US markets. So I was just curious. In Indian markets too, I can see people riding the EV boom too which I refrained from due to cyclicality.
