Since TSLA doesn't pay dividend and doesn't have a buyback program, why would the stock be worth anything? it seems to have less real-world value than bitcoin because I can at least use bitcoin in some shops (super rare but still).
Why stocks like TSLA have such a high P/E ratio, and people keep buying it even though it pays nothing? when you buy a TSLA stock your only hope for profit is that there will be a bigger “sucker” than you who would pay more for an “asset” that can't give you money.
I understand why stocks have value when the company uses company money to give back money to the investors, TSLA stock seems like collecting stones, in hope someone would value your stones in the future because they look nice.
