Google, Meta, Apple, seem to pay a lot of their employees in what can go as high as 50% cash/50% shares. This caught me offguard, is there any downside to shareholders when companies do this?
Or is it beneficial to shareholders since the companies have to pay out less cash? Maybe there's no effect at all? Couldn't find a Google answer, they only talked about if it benefits the employees but no mention of shareholders! Thank you for the help!
