Is there a benefit of buying one or the other based on this? Is it better to have more shares?
For example: let's say you have $10000 to invest, let's say Stock A cost $500, and the cheaper one Stock B is $100. I could have 20 shares of Stock A and 100 shares of Stock B.
I was thinking that the value of the stock is the value, so it doesn't matter how many shares you have.
