Despite all those supply chain headaches and economic curveballs that had the market in a frenzy last year, eBay managed to weather the storm. They don't bother with stocking their own inventory. No inventory, no issues with running low or dropping a ton on shipping.
But here's the deal: the e-commerce party is starting to cool off. The turbocharged growth we saw in retail e-commerce is expected to dial it back a bit, with sales projected to climb by 8.9% this year. That's a major drop from the sky-high double-digit growth we were rockin' in 2020 and 2021.
Wait it out for a better entry point down the road?
