META is falling hard the last days.
Even when Nasdaq falls 0.5%, META is falling more than 3%.
This is a company which made almost 40billion dollars in profit last year and market behaves like it is a Chinese ADR technology company, or a company which soon will go bunkrupt.
Even the closest comparison Netflix bottomed months ago at 160s and now is trading much higher.
I don't think NFLX will have higher growth than META so it puzzles me markets preference on NFLX and why it beat the market the past 5 months.
META on the other hand is a never ending free fall.
We all know the basics of value investing which is “buy below intrinsic value”, so I wonder where are all the world's value investors? Isn't this an obvious opportunity and mispricing of a highly profitable company?
I guess many companies would love to make 20-40 billion per year profits but its just a dream for most of them.
OK Europeans are currently too poor (due to exchange rate) to participate , but American hedge funds?
Did they all cash out and put their money into treasures to get the guarantee 4% per year, instead of losing 3% per day?
Any thoughts?
