What stocks do you recommend? What do you think about my portfolio? What do you think about this one specific stock? Chances are that these questions will be about the same handful of stocks out there that all posts are about and all threads end in. Mainly household tech stocks, some well knows retail stocks, a famous electric car stock, and perhaps household name semiconductors manufacturers.
The S&P500 has (duh) 500 stocks to choose from. Another 2000 stocks to choose from on the NYSE. Over 2000 on NASDAQ. And then there’s the rest of the world.
Is it, in your opinion, a problem that all investment talks on these subs tend to be about only a handful of stocks? Many on here tend to base their valuations on various financial metrics, so why not apply those same metrics to the other 5000 stocks out there and find the gems?
