Is it a bad idea to pull out of safer index funds and buy blue chip stocks in the current market?

I am 22 and have about 20k invested right now with about 40% in VTI and the rest in stocks like MSFT, GOOGL, and AAPL. Because those stocks have dropped a lot, and I have a lot of time to work with, would it be so bad to just sell all my VTI at a loss and buy MSFT, GOOGL, AAPL? What do you think?
