We (30m & 30nb) adopted our daughter(17) earlier this year.
Her previous parents passed away, and we have been named the payees for some money for her.
We currently have it going monthly into a savings account to be able to save for her future, either for school, a car, to spoil her for extra special events like bdays and Christmas if we go over budget, and her her first apartment.
We want this money to last her as long as possible or be there for her when she needs it. I am looking into options to invest a portion of it for long term.
What would be the best for a 'long term'- like 5 years or so, to help it accrue some extra money? We are going to save some of it, but I wanted to try and help it grow for her if possible.
