With all these inflation news, the only thing I hear in the news is to raise the fed funds rate to decrease the supply, so inflation goes back down.
Why do we not hear about plans to increase supply? Set up better loan terms for people thinking about starting a poultry business for example. Or drill more oil inside US to increase oil supply. Why do we not see any news about increasing supply?
