Impact of inflation on retail demand?

One question:

Lets imagine all companies increased their prices regarding to their cost. As braindead as people are (me included) they buy their iphone 14 and macbook air m2 regardless. So e.g. Apples EPS are still a beat. However people do not have that much money left: people have no money to buy aapl stock which leads to less demand.

Should stocks not drop slightly (or big) no matter they beat earnings until wages rise and people can put their money in the stock market?
Or do casual people have no impact on pricing of stocks?

Cheers
