Hey guys so I don't have any larger positions or really much money in stocks now and it's all my fault, so I'm letting my daughter do all the trading. I only started investing during the meme pump and dump days. while I was able to turn a couple of minimum wage pay checks into a couple months pay in the beginning my greed got the better of me and lost everything I made plus some. Fast forward a year almost 2 I now have an amazing daughter a beautiful wife and nothing in the stock market. About 2 months ago I was able to find a decent paying job and now making almost twice min wage where I live, Technically more because it's salary pay for 40 hrs but realistically only work 30. Not trying to brag cause it's still not a lot I'm jus proud of my self for being able to provide in way I was scared I wouldn't for my child. With the money I'm making now I can comfortably pay my rent, buy groceries, and most of all start investing again. The thing is I'm impulsive and greedy, options are not my friends. So I decided this time around I'd set some rules for myself
1:options were not an option
2:only invest in things I'm a customer of
3:let some one else make the decisions
4:hold till I die or it's a dire emergency
Ya see these holdings aren't for me its for my wife and child Incase something happens. Because these aren't even for me and since I've shown such poor judgement why should I pick what I invest in? The answer I shouldn't because a baby could do better than me and I'm gonna prove it. I currently have a wish list of about 15 companies and about 8 ETFs I use or are apart of my daily life. From here I simply hold the phone in front of my lil girl and let her swipe at the phone untill she clicks on something. At this point I'm very short term on this strategy, Jus over a month, but I'm up roughly 7 %across the board and already she's showing daddy how it's done. I know this was a lot of talking so if ya read the whole post thank you! If yall are interested I'll make 3 month updates from here on out but I'm no baller when it comes to what I'm able to invest so don't expect real gains till she's almost 2. Stay tuned guys and gals and wish lil Ina luck on her picks!
