I’m inexperienced and I purchased some options via E*Trade

I thought the only risk was to lose the money i initially invested. When I went to close the options down at the bottom under snapshot analysis it said my max loss was $24,000. Am I reading this wrong or am I screwed? My initial investment was $1,600.
