Please don't take this thread as a political stance and the point of this post is not to discuss opinions but rather a general philosophical perspective on the country as a whole.
It seems in past 10 years, it feels to me at least there is some sort of cancer that has been spreading very slowly through the US population. People have become very opinionated and there is a rise in strong opinions and spreading false information in pretty much any subject. There is also a rise in violence and we have seen how close it has gotten during January 6.
Again, I don't mind at all the differences of opinions but the hyper aggressive stance politicians take towards companies has gotten very absurd lately.
Take for instance for going after google for being bias or Desantis going after Disney, backlash against Pfizer due to vaccines etc
Again, Im not here to discuss opinions but my question is simple.
Can politics get out of control to affect the stability of government?
