I was told that the stock market will be bearish for another 9 months. Does anyone else also agree with this?

I took out all of my investments because I’ve been losing too much. From researching, I found that the stock market will continue to decline for another 9 months?! The market is just in such bad condition so I think it’ll be better to short stocks now. Who else thinks the declining trend will continue for some time?
