Block, Pinterest and Zoom.
They're all highly-effective services that have interesting network effects that call for change in how things are done. Block seeks to empower underbanked users with useful financial services and research into new systems like Corn coin. Pinterest is a social media platform built around ideas and planning, that is now naturally pivoting toward shopping in an era that's long seeking alternatives from Facebook and Amazon services and seeing shifts in shopping preferences like SHEIN or Tiktok's recommendations. Zoom is a large element on why hybrid work is possible at scale by building a reliable video-first cloud infrastructure and product.
There are other ground-breaking softwares out there, but I feel like these services all achieve high economic throughput and the ability to upgrade industries to better fit the needs of their consumers. What do you think of these three companies?
