I see everyone risking it all daily, asking when will X stock be a good value. When to invest, basically people trying to outperform the market average.
Is there a percentage somewhere that shows how many people beat the market year on year? I would imagine this is low and most people are in the red for like 50 percent of the time.
Wouldn't most people just be better off investing in the state index funds and leaving it? Or is it literally worth the time trying to pick individual stocks to best the market?
