First, Tesla haters, please, if you are going to comment, please do it in an informative way with arguments, not just pure hate, it's not objective and useful : )
So long story short: I made a fortune investing in $TSLA just before the COVID crisis happened but 2022 and unsustainable margin usage obliterated my account. I didn't evaluate properly where could be the possible bottom if my margin positions. Classic story: bought the top in the Fall, thinking the bad has passed and then Omicron + inflation + War + more inflation + FED + everything else you know and it made my account disappear.

I am SW engineer from the automotive space and I am huge believer Tesla is not just hype but currently something more like Apple around iPhone 3/4. But let's not discuss that technical/demand part without adequate arguments.
I am evaluating the possibility of taking a loan and entering the market again in month or two but with no margin or the absolute minimum margin which is *safe. The first part is easy – just buy as much as I can and leave at least the next 18-24 months unfold.
The second part is a little bit trickier – I need to properly evaluate the possible bottom or adequate stop losses . This is where I wonder what could be the worst Price-Sales ratio or some other proper metric which I can use to calculate the bottom.
I don't want to try again being an active/swing trader so I want to load my basket and just buy more whenever I have extra money to put in. The idea is that my salary will be enough to live normally even with the loan.
So, TLDR: Do you think $TSLA could drop below $400 if no new cataclysmic events happen? I wonder how bad the recession could be till the end of 2022 and if there could be drop in Tesla demand – I don't think so cause demand will drop mostly for goods that are more towards bottom class products and Teslas are not cheap. How much do you think demand could drop for middle to high class consumers? Seems like Apple is already having a demand problem but they don't admit it (last earnings call). Maybe I just need to forget about the margin part but I am trying to asses a reasonable usage of small risk…
